As part of the monograph on speech therapy and bioethics that we produced at the Catalan Association of Speech Therapists, we were able to count on the collaboration of Montserrat Esquerda, dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the Ramon Llull University, professor at the Borja Institute of Bioethics-URL and pediatrician in the Mental Health area of the Sant Joan de Déu de Terres Hospital in Lleida. Montserrat Esquerda has multiple publications on bioethics, grief and the end-of-life experience.
I invite you to watch this interview in which we talk about grief and pediatric palliative care, how speech therapists who work in end-of-life stages should prepare themselves, and what healthcare should be like in the 21st century.
